Dulce Prats Vazquez
As Edgewater Construction Group’s Finance Comptroller and CFO, Mrs. Vazquez directs duties associated with payroll, taxes, and all financial data, as well as customer and trade relations.
Beginning her career operating in the surveying field with Mario Prats Jr. & Associates, Mrs. Vazquez specialized in field measuring and continued learning the business from the ground up. Soon after, she became the Office Manager, which lead her to the prestigious position of President of Mario Prats Jr. & Associates, a role she held until May 2000.
With a Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Programming, Mrs. Vazquez’s experiences at Mario Prats Jr. & Associates fortified her knowledge of state and local construction/building laws, together with zoning and ordinance laws, preparation of elevation certificates, land planification, preparation of special assessment changes, and her ability to oversee outside crews and troubleshoot. She also has experience with preparing zoning hearing, administrative variances, and FEMA issues dealing with construction within Miami-Dade County.
